What an amazing midsummer I had! Great people, great food and great weather! Win win!! Hope the rest of you out there that also celebrated midsummer had a real nice day too! :)
Let me get started off with the food, we all brought something to the table, and
Oh my! There was everything that you could imagine! Baked bread, salmon, potatoes, tzatziki, grilled food, and much more! A real success!
And then for dessert there was an amazing pie and an outstanding French chocolate cake, all served with cream and strawberries of course ;) then we had nice drinks, played great music and chatted away all night! We also played a real fun game towards the end of the night! It couldn’t get any better!
It was quite a while ago I celebrated midsummer in this proper way, so it was real fun to be able to do it this year! :)
I can also point out that I made my first flower wreath yesterday! But it turned out massive!
Haha, it looked like I was wearing a flower hat or something! In the beginning it was alright, we’ll at least people convinced me it was! Haha, but then after an hour or so, when it started to break apart a bit and just fell lower and lower down my head, it looked like I was poking my head out of a bush! Haha oh my, looked so funny!
I then got to borrow my friend’s one which was a lot more appropriate! She got two of her own so it all worked out! Xx
Pic 1: Me and some of my girls celebrating my birthday! 2: Birthday lunch with my boyfriend, I had a lovely salmon sandwich! 3: My boyfriend got tattoed at my cousins tattoo place, he’s such a talented tattoo artist, you can find his website HERE! :) 4: After he got tattoed we went to Viggos, where they have the BEST burgers I’ve ever tasted, it’s a must when you’re in Lund! yum!!! 5: Me at the traintracks!
Just had my bath, aghhh so tired right now, been working hard all day in the boiling sun, burned myself a bit I noticed, well well… tomorrow I’m gonna go back there and do some more work, and work on a tan while I’m at it!
A few pics of the week! What do you think of the chicken wrapped in bacon, sweetpotatoes, asparagus, garlic sauce, dish I made the other day? ;) well proud! haha, also, my friend Signe was super chic in her pilot sunnies, hairdo and outfit when we met up in town, hot hot, so I just had to snap a pic of her!
And a smiley pic of me, few people have said that they want to see some more smiley pics of me here on the blog, usually I have my serious pokerface on in the outfit pics.. ha, but I’m a very smiley person! And by very, I mean VERY smiley, maybe too much sometimes..
I’m now going to my brother’s place with the sis today again, my brother is on parental leave so he’s home all day long with the kids, so it’s time for some brother and sister time! xx
Just made this dish, with fried courgettes, some chili, goat cheese, and pasta, oh and the best bit was the crispy parma ham! You just put some parma slices in the oven for like 7-10 min and they’re done!
Took some outfit pics yesterday that I was gonna show you, but just saw that they didn’t turn out very well, so will take some tomorrow instead!
Mmm check out the shrimpies I’ve been getting my hands on lately ! The first two pics is of the dish I made last night! Spaghetti with shrimps and ruccola it’s a Jamie Oliver recipe, and I found it in swedish HERE! Al though you’re really supposed to use the big shrimps, but there wasn’t any in my shop so I went for the small ones, which resulted them getting a bit dry, and not very juicy, also I recommend you using more sundried tomatoes then it says or a puré cause otherwise it gets quite dry! And not too much lemon, It was nice but could be nicer! It sure looked very nice! :)
The last pic is of the seafood dish I had the other day when I had lunch with some friends, mm nice one!
Now it’s saturday and I have a wedding to attend to later on! Fun times! Gonna be so fun to see the entire family! :)
Hey outfit pics coming up later xx :)
